    The B litter turned two on June 24. We took Bonney and Barclay to have their hips x rayed for OFA evaluation. Last week we received Bonney’s results. Regretfully her evaluation was sever hip dysplasia.

    Today we received Barclay’s results. We are proud to announce that Hunter’s Lonestar Barclay was evaluated as having GOOD hips.  He is the 161st Otterhound to receive an OFA number.

    This goes to show that breeding a sire with good hips and a dam with good hips doesn’t guarentee that the puppies will have good hips.
